This cycle introduces students to the study of geometry. It reviews foundational geometric vocabulary before moving into a study of constructions, rigid motions, congruence, and the triangle congruence theorems. It also reviews the angle relationships created by parallel lines and transversals and gives students their first introduction to writing proofs.
