This cycle of study had the theme of Power! In science, we studied energy, energy transfer, waves, and did a Rube Goldberg Project.
The kickoff used Emmanuel Jal’s TED talk to discuss different forms of power. Our culminating activity unleashed the students’ power on the world (they attached notecards where they wrote ways they felt powerful to skylanterns and then released them).
