Position Title: Secondary Co-lead Teacher
Position Description:
Magnolia Montessori is looking to hire a full-time teacher to work in our secondary environment of 7th and 8th grade students. We are looking for a motivated individual committed to Montessori Philosophy. Candidates must be willing to work with a co-lead to help carry out the developmental and learning goals of the Montessori secondary program. Candidates must be able to build genuine and respectful relationships with each child, maintain a positive and professional attitude, and implement strong classroom management skills.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
Teaching certification from the State of Florida
Subject areas of middle school language arts, history and civics
A commitment to the Montessori Philosophy
Love of learning
Team player
A deep respect of the child and individual learning styles
Salary: Base $47,500, commensurate with experience
