Pre-Training Work
Before you get started on your journey with CMStep, you will have some work to complete.
High-Residency
Preparation For The Academic Phase
1. Begin the online Overview course (required for all adult learners without previous Elementary Montessori training and credential). Adult learners will receive information to begin the Overview course as soon as their application is accepted. The final deadline will vary by section. The current 2024 – 2025 section closes on June 1, 2025. It may be competed at the adult learner’s convenience. It is recommended, though not required, that this course be completed before Summer 1. Required books:

3. Online Introduction to Secondary Montessori course (required to begin any academic coursework)
4. Books to purchase, read, and annotate for use in online Minimesters I-III. You will also bring these to in-person Summer 1. All other required books and materials will be provided during in-person coursework.
