Position Description:
Lakewood Montessori Middle School, a public magnet school in Durham, NC, is seeking a 6th grade math and science teacher. Math and science teachers work in a two-teacher partnership with a humanities teacher, and teach a cohort of approximately 50 students. Lakewood Montessori Middle has 300 students, 12 core community teachers, seven electives teachers, and serves 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Desirable candidates are capable of differentiating for a wide range of academic abilities, and are eager to participate in all aspects of our Montessori program.
