This cycle includes lessons that are cross disciplinary between math and science around the topic of chemical bonding. It includes a culmination activity that also served as the end of cycle processing activity. The students really enjoyed the activity. I changed it a little bit because we didn’t have a Jenga tournament but I had 6 Jenga games and each small groups played for 1/2 hour each. Also I had a separate Jenga set for the processing questions and I had the students chose a Jenga piece after the games were finished. Each group of 4 students answered all 4 questions that their table group chose and then we shared with the whole group at the end. It was very effective.
