In this Cycle of Study, we read articles, short stories, and novels that relate to our roles in the world. We research our genealogy and present what we want to share at the culmination of the project. We learn more about primary and secondary resources through our family research. There are lessons on timelines, The Age of Discovery, and college research. There are service opportunities at their former elementary schools, journal writings that address our individuality and where we see ourselves in the world., and seminar readings that cover related topics. Students use internet resources, personal interviews, family photographs, journals, diaries, and other personal artifacts to research where they come from.
